Using Sticky Pads – Papercraft Basics

Sticky pads are adhesive foam pads that adddimension to your card designs.

You can separate the foam pads from the backing sheet with your fingers.

If you find them a bit fiddly to use, then you can use a pairof tweezers instead.

There are lots of foam tapes available ifyou need to attach a large embellishment or a raised piece of paper.

I've started this card by matting a couple of patterned papers to the card and a corkdie-cut shape.

I'm going to attach this pretty tag to the card with sticky pads so it's slightly raised.

I'll also add a greeting over the top with more sticky pads.

As the die-cut shape is raised already, I'm going to avoid putting sticky pads on theleft side of the tag.

I'm now going to add more sticky pads to theback of the greeting, before sticking it in place.

As you can see the finished card has a lot of dimension and the embellishments look great.
