Toddler Activities & Crafts : Toddler Crafts: Construction Paper Turkey

Hi! My name is Stacey.

Today I am going toshow you how to make a turkey using your child’s hands and feet.

The materials are brown, orange, red and yellow construction paper, glue, scissors and a black marker.

First thing you will needto do is trace your child’s feet on the brown construction paper.

Next you will cutout the feet; these will serve as the turkey’s body and the heel of the foot will serve asthe head of the turkey and you just need to glue them together and you have an overlap.

Next thing you will do is trace your child’s hands on the orange, red and yellow constructionpaper and then cut the hands out.

You should have six hands total.

After you have cut the hands out you will glue them around the turkey for the feathers.

The next thing you will do is make a triangle for the nose with your orange constructionpaper and two feet for the turkey and cut out the feet and the nose.

The next thingyou will do is glue the feet to the bottom and glue your nose and then make eyes withyour marker or you can use googly eyes.

Now you have made a turkey with your child’shand and feet.

Don’t forget to put their age on the back.
