sliceform – papercraft – kusudama – 15 great circles – tutorial – dutchpapergirl

At the ball you need 60 pieces.

You can find the pattern on the above website.

I have the pattern that I used (I cut by hand) put on my website.

I have to fold the display which put out the form so you cut them off.

I cut on the inside of the black line, so that the bulb is nice and white.

A diamond is built up of two pieces.

The making of the diamond is not so complicated.

Take 1 arc and keep the hole in the center part.

Fold the paper on the scored areas.

Slide the opening at the end which is in the opening in the middle.

The 2nd piece is also folded and then slid to the 1st part.

Slide now also the opening at the end into the opening in the middle.

Now fold the two ends.

Stick the fixed parts, as seen in the video.

I always just glue on one finger.

This leaves 9 clean fingers to do everything together.

30 diamond gives one ball 15 continuous circles.

The ball assembly can be confusing.

Note 2 forms: the flower shape (blue) surrounding the pentagon (red).

And (orange) triangle made up of three diamonds.

The flowers form is always closed by 5 diamonds.

This is a triangle.

And this is the flower shape.

And the diamond which completes the triangle.

Paste as precisely as possible, so that fits nicely in the middle! The pentagon.

And the triangle.

Proceed in the same way.

Go for it!!.
