Paper Crane: How to make a Paper Crane. Easy Origami Crane tutorial, by OrigamiCalm.

Hello, I'm Catherine, and here's how to make an origami crane I think the video's fairly clear so I'm just going to point out a few things as we go along You'll need a square of paper mine is 15 centimetres, or 6inches, square and that is quite a good size to start with make sure you turn the paper over here you'll see why in a minute that's why you had to turn it over it you did it right it should collapse down pretty easily and look like this make sure the open section is pointing down I'm folding it upright here to show you what we're doing but you'll probably find it easier to turn it round a bit again, make sure those open flaps are pointing down they're going to be the head and the tail this is probably the fiddliest bit leave a little gap when you're folding the sides in, between them and that just makes it a bit easier a bit later on there, just leave a little gap between the two flaps so, if you left that small gap it makes this bit a bit easier you don't have to it just makes it a bit neater it also makes it easier if you're folding slightly thicker paper or if you're folding a small crane nearly done! so now, just choose one side to be the head the last bit's personal preference you can either fold the wings down flat or I quite like curving and pulling mine outmine out to make a rounded back like that Jasper's joined us! Enjoy making the cranes, and see you next time 🙂 bye!.
