For this part of the project when we paintedthe wings, we used a thicker paper.
And the reason for doing that is that this paint isa little bit heavy and wets the paper a little bit.
So we need to make sure that when we'redrying these wings, we're setting them off to the side, they're on a flat surface wherethey can dry completely flat.
We'll end up cutting them out and gluing them down.
Andwhen we glue them, we can press them down a little bit more.
But if the paper warps,it's going to be a little bit more challenging.
What you can also do is take a hair dryerand just run it over the paint to speed up the process.
If you're using a thinner paper,if that's all you have at home, it's going to take a little bit longer and what you'llneed to do is make sure that that surface is flat all the time.
Another way you cando that is by taking masking tape and taping it down just so that you know that the surfaceis really flat.
And we can do that, you can tape it to the table, to the counter top,and just go down and around and make sure that it's pulled very tight all the way around.
